MISSION STATEMENT
Here at Little VIPs Child Care & Early Education Centre we ensure all children and families feel safe, secure and supported.
Our relationships between educator and children reflect warmth and trust. The needs of each child is paramount and through establishing strong bonds we enable children to feel a sense of self-worth and builds confidence in each child.
We pride ourselves on providing a clean, safe, well maintained learning environment that allows children to create, explore, express and feel a sense of belonging. Thus Learn Through Play.
Our staff positively guide children’s learning by providing a large range of indoor and outdoor toys, equipment and a well developed, flexible daily educational learning program that is child interest based and provides children with learning choices.
We are actively involved in the National Quality Framework and have ongoing quality improvement plans being developed and implemented every day.
Regulations and laws are upheld at all times. Our policies, procedures and daily routines reflect these and are vital in establishing a high quality service.
We encourage families to be involved in the centre's activities, special events, children’s education and we value feedback and suggestions in relation to our centre's policies, programming and educator interactions.
We strive to provide affordable child care for the local community and support families within their role as parent, caregiver and/or local community member. Through emails, posters and pamphlets, displays and information nights we continue to provide parents with relevant information in relation to local events, parenting information and much more. This allows families and caregivers to be active members in their local community and stay informed and up to date with the latest industry, centre and community information.
We embrace and explore different cultures and value multicultural heritage, backgrounds and traditions. Children are exposed to diversity through posters, craft, books, visitors and much more. Children, staff and families are encouraged to respect and value each other. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders are acknowledged throughout the service and we pay tribute to the land on which the service is built on by proving children with experiences in aboriginal art and design, music and movement.
Sustainability is embedded into every day practice and we believe in incorporating natural resources and materials where ever possible.
Where possible the service recycles and uses environmentally friendly products. We value the local environment and are invested in long term preservation of the world around us.
Our educators are carefully selected and are considered important role models for all who attend the service. Staff consistently attend professional develop workshops and are encouraged to embed new skills and information into their every day practice.
All children are considered important individuals in our growing local community, therefore we feel our role as Educators and cares for these children is to provide opportunities to learn every day, respect, loyalty, empathy and a positive understanding of diversity.
