Can I put my child on the wait list if they are not born yet?
We prefer not to take bookings this far in advance, due to the fact that situations change. We always try to accommodate family’s needs and will ask non-working families to alter their children’s day if required.
Is there an orientation program for new children and parents?
We offer families to attend prior to their child’s first day at the service. During this time staff can interact with the child and family, and get to know any particular preferences that the family requires.
What happens if my child is sick?
If your child becomes unwell whilst at the service, we will contact the family members immediately. If these contacts are unavailable we will then start to contact the families additional contact people listed within the enrolment form. It is important to keep contacts and contact numbers up to date.
What happens if my child is sick and cannot attend?
You are eligible for 42 absent days per financial year that CCB & CCR are still applied to. If your child is absent past this number the centre can increase this by using medical certificates. If your child is unwell and you seek the advice of a medical professional please supply the centre with a medical certificate.
What are the child to staff ratios?
We at all times maintain staff to child ratios as per the National Regulations.

What is included in the daily fee?
Meals, snacks, cow’s milk, children’s bedding
How do I pay my fees?
You pay your fees on a weekly basis, using Ezi Debit a Direct Debit company. On enrolment you will receive a Direct Debit Request Form. This needs to be completed and returned along with your child’s enrolment form.
How do I arrange to see the centre?
You are welcome to view the centre at any time. We are open 6am to 6pm 5 days per week. If you require an in-depth consultation or further viewing we do kindly ask that you book a time. This will assist us in ensuring staff to child ratios are maintained.
What is Child Care Benefit (CCB)?
Child Care Benefit (CCB) is a Government subsidy for families to reduce their child care fees. CCB is available to families using either approved or registered child care. Most families using approved child care receive this subsidy as a fee reduction at the time they pay their fees. Child Care Benefit is means tested.
What is Child Care Rebate (CCR)?
Child Care Rebate covers 50% of out of pocket child care expenses, up to a maximum amount per child per year, in addition to any amount you may receive from Child Care Benefit and Jobs, Education and Training (JET) Child Care Fee Assistance. Child Care Rebate is capped towards the end of financial year. This can sometimes mean families are required to pay full fees until the new financial year.
What is JET?
JET helps with the cost of approved child care for eligible parents undertaking activities such as job search, work, study, training or undertaking rehabilitation to enter, or re-enter the workforce as part of an Employment Pathway Plan (also known as a Participation Plan or Individual Participation Plan).
What do I need to bring to the service each day?
What you need to bring each day will vary depending upon the age of your child. Within the enrolment pack you will receive, this will be covered further in depth.
What If my child has allergies or intolerances?
We try to accommodate for most allergies and intolerances that we are presented with. If we cannot accommodate your child, you may be asked to supply food from home. This will be decided during the orientation process and confirmed by the Director of the service.
Can I enrol online?
No, this is unavailable for this service, as we like to meet all new families in person. We like to discuss with new families their child’s needs, strengths, allergies, intolerances etc. We also like families to view the service and the room in which their child will commence care.
What support is available for me as a parent of a child with an additional need?
If you child has a diagnosed additional need, the service may be able to apply for an educator to support the staff and children within your child’s room. This process can be long winded, however we do our best to accommodate all families.
How do I enrol my child?
This information can be found within the enrolment information tab. Should you require further assistance in completing your enrolment form please call the centre and we will be happy to assist.
Do I get billed even when my child doesn’t attend?
Yes, due to your child’s position within the centre being a permanent booking you will still be charged for all non-attendance days. You receive 42 absent days per financial year which you are still eligible for CCB & CCR. If you exceed these 42 days per financial year you will be charged full fees.
Can my child attend your centre if they attend another centre or Kindy?
Yes, you child can still attend other services, however if these other services are claiming CCB or CCR you need to inform us. This will assist you with not claiming over your eligible benefits.
Can my child attend if they are not immunised?
Yes, depending on individual circumstances, we can further discuss upon orientation to the centre whether your child will still be able to attend. However, if there is an outbreak of an immunisable disease your child will be excluded for the recommended time frame. The centre uses “Staying Healthy in Child Care 5th Edition” as their reference.
